Training

As RJ has a primary focus on people, and the damage that is caused to relationships as a result of a wrongdoing, training can be provided that enhances opportunity for healing the damage in a range of ways, not all of which are focussed on punishment.

A foundation principle is that of RJ balancing the needs of the community, victims and offenders after a wrongdoing has occurred.

The Centre for Restorative Justice provides training and professional development services to ensure that conflict can be resolved in constructive ways in an array of different environments, for:

    • Schools - Educational policy makers, teachers, support staff and parents
    • Justice officials and administrators
    • Police and correctional services
    • Faith Communities & Religious Organisations
    • Businesses that wish to provide a different framework for employee relations and conflict resolution
    • Individuals that have an interest in restorative practices
